Contents and objectives of the institute of construction and building technology (IKB)

1. Experimental research projects

As a principle the projects deal with the perception of space in architecture.

The following topics are emphasized:

- Study of spatial border phenomena

- Development of mobile/transpotable constructions

2. Application orientated research projects,

which deal with the study of materials, methods of construction and joining.

In particular the institute is dedicated to the development of:

- innovative construction and cladding systems

- prototypes of structural, hull and interior systems using recyclable materials
