All our research topics are applied to curend subjects of environment and behavior. Mostly they are undertaken in cooperation with public services or private enterprises. The emphasis of our current topics of research is on innovative housing concepts and its related environment.

- Different housing concepts for ´new´ living arrangements
People in ´new´ living arrangements do need a great amount of adaptability by living in commonly designed flats and houses. The aim of this study is not simply an empirical approach to some individuals in specific living arrangements, but a systematic analysis on a conceptual design level. The final results however, turned out to be focussed not only in terms of architectural design but in an interdisciplinary appproach of designing and running an housing estate.
- Development of innovative housing concepts
To establish innovative housing projects like collective residences or assisted living it takes an interdisciplinary approach of property development.
Our work is to develop methods of architectural programming and design strategies for innovative housing concepts. This concerns not only design issues but also matters of participation of clients within the process of designing and developing a project.
