Services
The Institute offers services to public and private clients to resolve particular tasks related to subjects of design and planning of the built environment.
Our range of services includes analyzing spacial qualities, consulting of corporate structures in relation to spacial design, and development of integrated solutions of interrelation between human behavior and spacial design.
Our profile is based on theoretical knowledge of architectural psychology and sociology. our methods of worc include a wide range of empirical studies.

The priliminary areas of work since founding of the institute in 2004 were:

• Housing and Demographic Change
  The  work includes the development of spacial design princiles for innovative housing, assisted living, elderly peoples ward, as well as spacial design concepts for specific targed groups like an Alzheimer´s ward.
  
  
• Schools for the future
  Curently there is a rapid change giong on, to expand part-time schools to all-day-schools. In cooperation with teachers, communities and parent representatives we are developing integrated strategies for educational and spacial design.
  
  
• Innovative housing
  The successful operation of neighbourly habitation, assisted housing and other innovative housing conceptes is not only related to spacial design and human needs, but also to the management of an housing estate. Terefore we are concerned about an interdisciplinary approach to our work, both in services and research.
