Role of the Senate

The Senate takes decisions in matters of research, teaching, studies and formation unless legal regulations did not assign these decisions to another executive body or to the faculties. The Rector of the University is the Chairman of the Senate.
The principal tasks of the Senate are among others:
Confirmation of the First Class members of the Rectorate
Comments and statements about the structure and development plan
Decisions related to establishment, modification or abolition of courses of studies or University institutions
Decisions about the examination statutes of the University
Decisions about the constitution of the University
