With the registration (immatriculation), the applicant becomes member of the University. The registration date is to be inferred from the registration form. Extra documents - specified in the registration forms - have to be submitted for immatriculation.
Renewal of matriculation
In case the student would like to continue the study, he/she has re-registrate within the period determined by the university (§ 57 exp. 1 FHG). This renewal of matriculation can be explained by the payment of contribution for the student council and other public demands. As confirmation of the re-registration the student recieve the appropriate certificates of immatruculation.
Holiday permission
On request, the students can have a time-off period or so called holiday permission, if appropriate reasons are present and the request is submitted at the latest before beginning of lecture. The time-off period is usually not longer than 2 semester or terms; remains however for the calculation of regulated periods of study out of consideration.
Regulated periods of study
Die regulated period of study is seven semester of terms of study incl. a practical training period. Periods of study, which were spent at another university, are taken fully into account. The number of semester of terms from another study are totally or partly taken into account, depending on the equality of the study.
