General Information on Lecture/Seminar Selection

The idea of HBC Lectures/Seminars Taught in English is to give all incoming students the opportunity, whether they speak German or not, to come to Biberach University of Applied Sciences to experience student life here. HBC Lectures/Seminars Taught in English give our exchange students the opportunity to explore multiple areas of interest. Students of all degree programmes are welcome to join HBC Lectures/Seminars Taught in English. Regulations may apply for students in the first and second year of study on Bachelor level at their home institutions. Students may pick courses from different fields of study and study levels. However, we cannot guarantee that timetables of different areas and level of study will interlock. More information is available at the Syllabus of each course. Please check which lectures/seminats are held in winter and summer semester.

HBC offers a weekly German language lecture for both on beginner and advanced level. During our orientation week we start with the German language lecture and will put  you in the group that fits your level. Furthermore there will be an intercultural training which is together with the German language lecture mandatory for all incoming students!

The vast majority of lectures and seminars are instructed in German. Students with the valid proof of German B2 or higher are free to choose from a wide range of lecures and seminars taught in German.
