Prerequisite: Sufficient knowledge in Civil Engineering
Objectives (Learning Outcome): The student has sufficient knowledge to comprehensively work on the topic of the Bachelor thesis. The student has the engineering skills to work on the topic and has the competence to apply existing knowledge to new issues. The student has the competence to independently work on a problem from the subject according to scientific methods within a given period of time.
Lecture topics (content): The topic of the Bachelor's thesis is located in a subject area relevant to the course of study. The chosen area of specialization must be taken into account.
The topic and content of the Bachelor's thesis are determined by the supervisor. The bachelor's thesis should be written according to scientific principles. The Bachelor's thesis will be presented in a colloquium. The form and content of the colloquium will be determined by the supervisor.
Teaching format (e.g. online/in person lecture/Seminar/Lab etc.): Project
Examination: One copy of the thesis is to be handed in at the examination office; the number and form (e.g. as PDF) of further copies to be handed in are determined by the supervisor. In addition, a short version of the Bachelor's thesis and a poster must be submitted.
There has to be a presentation at the end.
