Objectives (Learning Outcome): The students know the design and traffic engineering fundamentals for the planning of junctions. They have the ability to calculate simple fixed-time controls for traffic light systems, and to carry out traffic engineering dimensioning according to HBS. They know the fundamentals of traffic management for the street and the fundamentals of inner-city traffic planning. They have an overview of the planning methods used in inner-city streetscape design.
