Objectives (Learning Outcome): Learning a programming language and solving simple engineering problems by creating your own algorithms and solving more complex problems in dialog with computer scientists.
Lecture topics (content): Introduction to software development using a common programming language, tools for software development, variables, expressions, control structures, functions, namespaces, object orientation. Representation of numbers, data structures. Analysis of measurement data.
